2011 Schedule
Spring has finally arrived which means the weather is getting warm (really!) Like the rest of us, we are sure you are looking forward to spending time at the beach! Here is the Calendar of Events for 2011, your dues form, WHBeachwear order form and some other goodies for your reading pleasure.
Saturday, July 2rd - ANNUAL MEETING 10am on the lawn at 10 Avenue A (The Duseau's home.) Please bring your ideas and, of course, your dues. Dues are $50.00 per family. Please make checks payable to the WHB Association. Please complete the ENCLOSED dues form and bring with you or mail it in. We want to ensure our mailing/email list is up to date.
Sunday, July 4th - BEACH CLEAN UP The association has been informed that the distinguished guests of the Plymouth House of Corrections will be participating in an activity filled beautification project that morning on the beach.
Saturday, July 16th - Candy Treasure Hunt This is something new we are trying this year. We will meet at 10 Avenue A at 630pm and have a Treasure Map to follow and try to find lots of awesome goodies and prizes for the kids. We will end back at 11 Avenue A for an Ice Cream Sundae Party. We need adults to walk with the kids and to pass out the goodies at their cottages! Please sign up at the Table with Jessica Kelly.
Saturday, August 6th - Sand Castle Contest on the beach at Low Tide 11:30 sharp. Registration is at 10:00am with Holli Merritt and Kerri Collins. This will be the only activity on this day.
Saturday, August 13th - Family Fun Day Low tide is at 6pm so it gives us the whole day to enjoy fun and games. Cookout at 1pm, Races from 3-5pm. Fun and prizes for all!!! This year we are again setting up committees. We need volunteers to sign up for set-up, cooking, serving and clean up. This takes a lot of work so if you could even volunteer for an hour it would be most helpful.
Saturday, August 27th - FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT, 7:30pm- 11 Avenue A Bring your chair and/or blanket and join us for a movie and some popcorn on the lawn.
